"Candor"

5

Oscar's dad is the mayor of Candor, where everything and everyone is perfect. This is all because of the music that plays throughout Candor - brainwashing music. To everyone else, Oscar is too. But he knows the secret of the music and how to resist it. He watches all the new residents of the town become clones of the old ones. Everyone around him is perfect on the outside but inside they are still the people they were before. When a new girl arrives, Oscar can't help falling for her, despite the fact he already has a girlfriend, Mandy. He doesn't truly love Mandy anyway. The new girl comes in and she turns Oscar into a rebel, just like she is. Oscar gives her a special CD of music to help her fight back against his Dad's. But when things go wrong, Oscar will do anything to save her. He knows he has to get her true person back before it's too late.
