I loved this book because it had funny bits and sad bits. I also liked the way Mimi sucked her thumb the way I sometimes do :]

The book was also quite sad the way Mimi's mum died and the way her dad was very sad because of it but it's good the way everyone turns happy again at the end. I thought this book was absolutely brilliant. It was really funny and well written. My favourite character was Mimi's Gran because she would always make me laugh... Some parts were very sad, some were heart-warming. After a few pages I could not wait to see what would happen next. Excellent!!!

This is a brilliant book. I couldn't put it down. It makes you laugh because Mimi is so funny and cute and it makes you cry because she is also sad because her mammy has been killed and her family are a mess. Mimi is adopted and is bullied in school. I don't want to give away the story because lots happens and you will love it. Best book ever!
