About this book

Shortlisted for the Red House Children's Book Award 2010.

In the amazing Crunch Munch Dinosaur Lunch! children are introduced to Ty - the biggest and baddest of all the dinosaurs. He has a big, big mouth, big, big claws and a tiny little sister called Teri who loves him very much. When Ty goes hunting, his tiny little sister starts to become a big problem, but when Teri is in danger and needs saving her big brother comes to the rescue. Paul Bright's tale of the relationship between siblings will be a huge success amongst little ones!

Red House Readers say...

Hamish and I enjoyed this book about Ty the Tyrannosaurus and his little sister Teri. Poor Ty just wanted to catch his lunch but was constantly thwarted by his little sister Teri. In the end, Teri needs saving and her big brother comes to the rescue. This was a fun book with big bold illustrations and lots of different dinosaurs to look at.

"A winning book for toddlers"

5

My 2 and a half year old received this for Christmas. 30 reads later (I write this three weeks after Chritmas day) he can "read" it with me, and tells everyone about it. It's a lovely story about that love/hate relationship siblings have, and has beautiful bright pictures. Favourite quotes here are "Stay in the nest pest" and "Don't you touch my baby sister". Highly recommended!
