Kisses are Yuk is fabulous and it will have you and your children in fits of giggles. This book is really good fun to read out loud and a great many over-kissed children will find lots to relate to in it. The descriptions of the different kissing techniques from Jacks' various Aunties, Uncles, Cousins and Grannies is enough to put you off kissing for life! Sloppy, sticky and licky are just some of the unappealing adjectives that are used. Aysha and Oscar found Granny Groover who kissed like a hoover particularly hilarious.

This book could have been made for Olivia, who says 'Yuk' if anyone dares to show her affection without her prior approval, so she was very excited at the title alone! The bright cover brought a smile straight away and the illustration and colours were tops for fun throughout. The likeability factor continues with the fast and furious rhyming text, making it a real romp of a read in every respect. Differing fonts add even more expression and with every story adding to the vibe, we think this is truly fantastic, not yuk at all.
