Aimee and I loved the style of this book. It is beautifully illustrated and has many extras inclduing a map, lift up flaps, nibbled pages etc. Aimee equated very well with the little mouse in the book who is scared of many, many things and is learning to live up to its fears. On each page there is room for children to draw or write about their own fears and phobias.

My only concern is that I felt it made Aimee aware of fears that she hadn't actually thought of, so in my opinion it is better suited to a slightly older child maybe 5/6 year old, not a naive 4 year old! Also I don't think Aimee could express her fears that well on paper yet, hence why I think it would be better for an older child.
