About this book
Winner of the Peter Book Award 2013 Best Story.
Stylish, witty and full of fun, Liz Pichon's Tom Gates stories are a wacky mixture of doodles and writing that are brilliant for enticing reluctant readers to get stuck into a book. Tom Gates, master dodger of homework, returns with more pranks, plans and genius ideas in this fourth book in the Tom Gates series. In Tom Gates: Genius Ideas (Mostly) readers can expect lots of slapstick fun and silliness, plus lots of detailed illustrations and doodles to pore over and try to imitate!
Red House Readers say...
"The fourth book in the Tom Gates series and I think it’s probably the best!"I thought this book was very funny and imaginative, and the drawings are excellent. This book has a lot of humour, as many strange things happen to Tom! This includes some hilarious events including a family barbecue, school sports day and a talent contest. This is the fourth book in the Tom Gates series and I think it's probably the best. I've read all of the books in this series and I like all of them, because they’re jam packed with humour and they’re great for fans of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books because they're quite similar. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone and I'd rate it 5/5.
