I agree with Michaela this seems like a nice book until you get it. I had to return it as started reading Ugly Ducking to my baby, well, I had to stop. It should have a warning as they are not nice stories when it includes biting the duck neck and shooting. SO I RETURNED IT.

""Short and a little scary""
First of all, this book is much shorter than I thought, just 94 pages. There are 10 stories altogether but some of them are so scary you might as well let your child watch a horror movie (Little Red Riding Hood story ends with her being eaten, in Henny Penny animals have their heads bitten off by a fox). But some of the stories make the book worth the discounted price (Emperor's New Clothes, The Ugly Duckling).
