"Another great one from Julia"
We are a big fan of Julia Donaldson and this is another gem from her again. I bought this as a little surprise for my daughter when going to our trip to India. I started to read the book first time on our way to the airport and this was a big hit straight away. I was a bit surprised with this book as there is a baddie but she loves it and there is a nice little surprise on the last page in the cake shop that my daughter always likes to point out. You won't go wrong with this purchase!

""Lots of fun!""
We love this book at home! Lots of opportunity to do different voices for the characters in the story. In particular for the baddie, The Highway Rat'. The rhythm of the book is not dissimilar to the Alfred Noyes Poem 'The Highwayman'. A tiny bit scary but this particular baddie does get him comeuppance in the end!
