Red House Readers say...
I liked this book because it shows how difficult it can be to make new friendsPea has just moved from Tenby and now she needs to find a new best friend. She lives with her two sisters, Clover and Tinkerbell, her mum and a Brazilian helper, Vitoria. Which friend will she choose? Maybe it will be the mysterious neighbour? She tries lots of different people and is about ready to give up. She tries changing what she has in her lunchbox and pretending to be a horse, but nothing seems to be working. Tinkerbell, Clover, Mum and Vitoria keep saying that Pea will find a friend soon.
I liked this book because it shows what it is like to move and how difficult it can be to make new friends. It was an easy book to read and it was quite exciting. I would read more books by the author, Susie Day. I would give it a 4 and a half out of 5.
