This book follows Best Mate with his different owners, Becky, the girl living with her mum and Craig, the mean greyhound racer and Mr. Tattyvan, the widower, living alone on his barge. but can he find a permenant home? Part of the story is based on the shocking tale of the greyhound graveyard in the north of England. It is the sort of book you don want to end and so sad and cruel in parts it makes you angry to have to accept whats going on in the world. 5 star, one of the best books I've read!
