The Red House Young Writers Year Book 2008

COMPETITION CLOSED - WE WILL NOTIFY WINNERS IN OCTOBER - ONLY WINNERS WILL BE NOTIFIED.

After the success and high quality of writing published in the Red House Young Writer's Year Book 2007, Red House has begun its search for budding writers and poets to submit their best piece of work to be considered for publication in the Red House Young Writer's Year Book 2008.

Criteria:

  • Submissions from children aged 9 to 17 years only.
  • All forms of the written word accepted - poetry, short stories, haiku and journalism.
  • Word limit - 1000 words maximum

Judging:

  • The final selection will be judged and edited by best-selling author Matt Whyman.
  • Closing date: COMPETITION CLOSED
